Our Faces

We cut circles for the faces.
We like to concentrate on our work.
 Tici cuts very fast.
Then, we glued eyes, nose, mouth and ears.
 I picked brown eyes!
 We glued everything by ourselves.
Cutting, cutting, cutting...

I Can Make a Person

First, we played with the boy and girl body puzzle.
 That's right, Felipe!
Good job Lisa and Mariana, good team work!
Some of the boys were trying to put together the background for the boy and girl figures.
Some of the girls also wanted to complete the background.
Then we did the other puzzle.
 We worked in small groups.
We talked about the figure trying to decide what to do next.
Where is the other part of the head?
This is the body, these are the legs, the head is missing!
We're done, Ms. Munne!
Then we glued our body pieces to a poster board.
This figure looks like it is running.
After all that we made our people with playdough.
 We like working with playdough.

Our Body Shapes

We played Simon Says with Ms. Larissa.
This game teaches us the body parts in a fun way!
Then Ms. Larissa drew us on the butcher paper.
We had to lie very still.

We then drew eyes, nose and mouth.

We also colored our body shapes.
The last thing we added was the hair with crepe paper.
I got carried away and started coloring the whole paper...

Apple Fun!

 Apples on a string
 No hands, just your mouth!
 That's it, Matheus!
 Way to go, Harry!!
Yes, Bernardo, go on you can do it!
 Ms. Munne I bit it!
 I don't know about this...
 Bobbing for apples
You have to put your face in the water
 Wow, Guilherme that's it!
 Yes, Matheus, go on!

I didn't this game, it's too hard! I'd rather play with the apples!
Come on, you can do it!
 Now I'm all wet!
Guilherme really wanted that apple!

Five Little Pumpkins Sitting on a Gate Math

Ms. Larissa read the book.
And we sang a song.
First we glued the gate...
Then we put the pumpkins on the gate.
 We traced number 5.
We drew the faces on the pumpkin.
 We counted the 5 pumpkins.
 These are mine!
 We all worked by ourselves.
Ms. Larissa only glued the number strip.
