Bird Patterns

The Children played with toy birds.  And Ms. Munne showed the bird patterns and everyone participated orally in completing the patterns.
Then they cut bird pictures to complete the bird patterns.
Some children cut very fast and others took a little longer!
Everyone is so concentrated on their work!

There was also another worksheet in which the children had to circle the bird that completed the pattern.
Is it right, Ms. Munne?
When chidren were done with their patterns they played some more with the bird toys.

Mama Flamingo Had Babies

Chidlren were making baby flamingos with Ms. Eli.
They cut the bodies.

And then glued the feathers.
And made their baby flamingos pretty and pink!

Ms. Larissa read a book about the Chicken and how it grows.
Ms. Larissa read a book on how the chicken grows and we role-played being the mother hen sitting on the eggs.
Vijay and Anna Maria were very good mother hens!
Afterwards, we broke up in pairs and looked at books on birds.
Aninha and Lisa were looking at the chicken book.
I'm done, I want another book.
After looking at the books we colored the chicken cycle pictures to make our poster.
Ms. Larissa wrote everything we said about the chicken cycle.
Lucas and Nanda colored their pictures very well.
Everyone was very concentrated coloring their pictures.

Birds, Birds. Birds...

On Monday, Bia G. brought her bird Lola to school...we talked about the bird and then we looked at toy birds.
We chose our favorite bird to draw.
 I picked the eagle.
Matheus and Clarinha prefer the flamingo.
We also examined feathers with magnifying glasses.
 Feathers are soft and fluffy.
Giovana wanted to put a feather in her hair.
I did it!
