Thanksgiving Week: Pilgrims or Indians Puppets

We made hand puppets on Monday, November 21st, 2011.
Ms. Munne and Ms. Larissa traced our hands.
We could choose to make a Pilgrim or an Indian.
For the Indians we colored our fingers to make the feathers.
We drew eyes, nose and mouth for our puppets
The Indians were very popular with the girls, most boys chose Pilgrims.

Thanksgiving Day

We had some pilgrim boys.
And some Pilgrim girls.
The Indians also came to the Thanksgiving snack!
Then we all sat down to eat...
 The Pilgrim boys...
 the Indian Girls
 The Pilgrim girls...
Everybody together!!!

Binoculars and Shakers

We made binoculars: we decorated them and then chose colored celophane paper for the lenses.
We also made shakers. We had 5 choices of things to put in the shakers: sand, rice, beans, corn and rocks.  We then covered the yogurt bottles with tissue paper.

Is the sound loud or soft?

We made loud and soft sounds with the instruments.

We chose which instruments we wanted to play.
Then we all played together, we made loud and soft sounds with our instruments.

What Do You See?

We talked about our sense of sight.  Ms. Munne read a book and then we went outside and looked through different color paddles.  If we wanted a different color than the one we had we traded with a friend!
We had a great time outside!
Some of us just started running!!

Playtime on Friday: Costume Day

Matheus decided to be a Bunny.
Gigi was Little Red Riding Hood.
Luiza was Tinker Bell riding Bullseye.
Aninha was wearing Ariel's hair.
