Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer Activity

First Ms. Munne traced our foot and we cut it to make Rudolph's face.
Then we traced our hands and Ms. Eli cut them for us;  they are Rudolph's antlers.
Ms. Munne and Ms. Larissa assembled the face and antlers for us.
 We glued Rudolph's nose.
We then drew eyes, and mouth.
 I like Rudolph!
Let me see, what's missing?

Christmas Wreaths

Monday, December 12, we decorated Christmas wreaths.
 We made little balls...
 glued the little balls.
 Rolling, rolling...
 More, more...
 We haven't even started!
We have lots of glue dots!
What are they doing over there?
 Half way through!
I like to concentrate on my work!
 Little balls, little balls...
Glue the little balls on the wreath!
 Hi, Ms. Munne!
My balls are very small, I'm tearing the paper!
I need to separate the paper.
 Concentrating...
Hum, I'm not sure I want my picture taken!
 Almost done!
 Tired of these balls.
 Very carefully roll the balls.
 I'll finish first!
One, two, three, four, five, six...
I still have a long way to go!

Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer

You know Dasher and Dancer, Prancer and Vixen, Comet and Cupid, and Donner and Blitzen
But do you recall the most famous reindeer of all.
 Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer
Had a very shiny nose
And if you ever saw it you would even say it glows
All of the other reindeer used to laugh and call him names
They never let poor Rudolph in any of their reindeer games
Then one foggy Christmas eve Santa came to say: Rudolph with your nose so bright won't you guide my sleigh tonight?
Then how the reindeer loved him as they shouted out with glee
Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer you'll go down in history!

Jingle Bells

 Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells
 Jingle all the way,
Oh, what fun it is to ride in a one horse open sleigh!
Dashing through the snow, in a one horse open sleigh,
O'er the fields we go, laughing all the way
Bells on bobtails ring, making spirts bright,
Oh, what fun it is to ride
And sing a sleighing song tonight!

Family Patterns

We chose three family members and made a pattern.
My pattern is mommy, daddy, me!

How Many People in My Family

We looked at the pictures of our family and counted how many people in the family.
We glued the family pictures and then drew the family members.
We also traced the number of people in our family.

Family Tree

We cut the leaves for our Family Tree.
Then we glued the family pictures.
We then "planted" the tree in the bottle filled with sand.  Afterwards, we put the leaves with the pictures.
